Artist's Comments
Two swordsmen are ready to fight. Both are ready to unleash a killing strike, but before that they try to evaluate each other. Try to make up where to attack and how to survive. They try not to reveal much of them selves to the other and try to be calm like the surroundings. The situation is in stand still before the storm about to be released.
This picture was taken as a part of a photo session in our Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu summer camp. Had the idea during traing in water and I was quite pleased how this one turned out. The title was hard to come up with. I am not happy with that either, even though it was the best I could think... Another angle at this concept can be seen in 'Respect' - [link] |
